Today I went roller skating with my friend Melissa and her boyfriend Matt.  I've never been good at sports, except maybe soccer, but I can roller skate.  Is roller skating a sport?  I don't mean inline skating, I'm too cool for inline. I may be getting a bit too old to roller skate, but there were a few people older than us there who didn't have kids so not just yet.  The music was bad, but it was mainly for the under tens.  They did play Bootylicious which surprised me.  I can't complain, they also played Michael Jackson's Thriller.  I reckon Texan's think it's funny when Vincent Price says "...terrorize 'yalls' neighborhood...".    I had more fun with all these kids around than I did on adult night.  No gross guys asked me to "couple skate".

There were three birthday parties there today, one of them was normal and had bought pizza for the kids to eat, but two of them had a whole turkey?  Huh?  What's that about?
