Took a trip out to Merilee's house today and went swimming in the spring there.  It was nice, but it was strange having perch nibble at my toes as I waded along.  Luckily Merilee (above) who is far more brave than me chased most of the critters away before I got in, and moved along the algae.  Mer must really think I'm a girl.

Among the critters we saw out were three slimy frogs who were too quick to capture on camera.  It was a real treat as you never see frogs here.  We got toads, but never frogs.
