Alena and I had a pre-bachelorette night tonight as it was Kersten's night to go out for his bachelor night "american style". I've never been very good at being the "crazy fun friend" who can plan a good bachelorette party. I didn't leave the house for mine, instead I listened to 'Ibiza 2000' and made cakes, which was fun, but not wild. I think bachelor nights are outdated anyway. I don't want to think that the last night you go out before you get married is your last night of fun. What rubbish. Instead Alena and I went to see Legally Blonde, a fine film. Despite the fact that we got there almost 45 minutes early, the cinema was filled. Filled with sorority girls. Alena recognized people from her classes she knew, and I saw people from the college of education who are mostly sorority girls anyway. This demographic makes me really uncomfortable, but the movie mostly made fun of sorority girls, so that made us happy. It was one of the funniest movies I'd seen in a while. Worth $7 anyway.

it's time to get my digital camera fixed
When we got back to Alena's, Kersten wasn't there but instead still out at the Yellow Rose, or Sugars. I can't remember which. It's good that his friends took him out for a proper night out because I don't think that he'll be going to strip clubs much after he's married.
