This evening I ran from work to the train to catch the 4:50 from Leeds to London.  On the way there, I saw the brightest rainbow I have ever seen.  Just to remind you of what a beautiful country I live in:

In London I took Nige to the Texas Embassy Cantina.  As close as you're going to get to good Tex-Mex outside of Texas.  The margaritas rival those at Trudys .  You'd think that they play country there, but they don't, they play real Texas music.  While I was there I heard Janis Joplin, an Edie Brickell song I haven't heard since I was a teen, and some Lyle Lovett.  You have to use your suspension of disbelief to feel like you're in a real Tex-Mex restaurant.  You can't look out the window, and you have to pretend like you can't hear the tourists from Maryland next to you complaining about how it's not like when they were in Mexico.  At least the cute waiter, Ross, made sure we had generous helpings of tortilla chips and salsa (and didn't charge us for them... but for everything else we paid full english prices).  It was pretty funny to watch N eat a tostada and flautas with a knife and fork.  I didn't feel like the one who is out of place for a change... well at least for about an hour.
